Can I use a layout?
Yes - - Just please subscribe and comment first. Subscribing to a tester site doesn't count.
How do I apply a layout?
First, you have to delete your set Xanga theme, if you have one.
Each of my layouts has two codes. Copy the first one and then go to your private Look and Feel and paste it in your Custom Header. Then, go copy the second code and paste it in your Website Stats, or the last box in your look and feel
There are also other directions on each layout you should follow to make sure everything works right.
How do I delete my theme?
If you have a xanga theme, then you will have the edit box at the top of your page. In the left-hand corner of the edit box, click on 'delete theme'. When the new page loads, click on your username in the top right-hand corner of the page to get back to the classic xanga page. In your left module will be the link to your look and feel page.
How do I hide my search bar?
In your look and feel, scroll down to about the middle of the page, just before the Custom Module box. In the Search Bar and Trim section, click on the drop-down menu and select 'Hide search bar'. I would suggest doing this if you use any of my layouts. It makes it look much better.
I used one of your layouts, and Xanga shut my site down.
I will use this oppertunity to tell you that ad removers are against xanga's rules. All of my codes include ad removers, so if you would rather follow the rules and not use one, let me know, and I will tell you what to do.
Can you make me a layout?
When requests are open, just fill out a form, and I would be happy to. If requests are closed, you can fill out a form, but I may not get to it for a while. Please do not request layouts in any other box but the Request box. And, also, if you want a layout for a musical artist, please make sure I don't already have one for that artist. On my last site I would have to make like 5 layouts for one artist.
When will my request be done?
It depends on what kind of layout it is, whether or not I can find the picture, if it needs glitter - - anything that takes up any kind of time is a factor here. I ask that you be patient because when requests are open, I really am doing the best I can.
Will you make this one better?
When I moved all of my layouts over, I 'upgraded' the stylesheet and fixed them up as best I could. If I didn't fix them up, it was because I didn't care about them the first time - - meaning, it was requested by a person who broke a rule or was mean. I didn't care then, and I don't care now. I will, however, make a new layout out of it, if you ask.
Can you find me a song?
Sorry...no. I do not upload or download music. If you want a song for your site, please go to a site for music codes.
If I give you my password, can you fix something for me?
NO! On my last site, I had a huge problem with people giving me their passwords. It's not a good idea to post it in a comment where anyone can read it. I will explain anything to you that you need, and I can re-type a code if it doesn't work. But if you leave your password in a comment, I will delete it and ignore it. I will not log into your account for you.
I saw your layouts somewhere else. Did you jock them?
Absolutly not!!! I guarentee you that my layouts are 100% all mine. If someone else has my layout, I assure you that it is they who is the jocker, and I would appreciate being told about it. I used to own alys_lays, so if that's where you've seen my layouts, don't worry. It's still mine, I just moved it to this site.
My layout has a bunch of weird words at the top.
If you chose a layout that has a right-side module, the website stats code was in a different type of text box. If those words are showing up, that means you right-clicked in this text box and clicked 'Select All'. To fix this, simply go back and highlight the entire code manually and copy it.
Pictures and words that should be at the top of my layout, are on the bottom, or not there at all.
If your quotes are on the bottom of the page or not there at all, then that means you put your Custom Header code in the Website Stats box. Make sure that you put the first code in your custom header and the second code in your website stats.
Everytime I leave a comment, a weird code appears.
Click here for Xanga's suggestion. If it doesn't work, there is a way to prevent that. Before you leave a comment, hit the backspace and enter buttons reapetedly until the scrollbar in the comment box disappears. It may take a few tries, but it should work.

NO!!! If people keep spamming you, it's your problem. You shouldn't have jocked my layouts in the first place.
